Contemporary Landscape Artist, Kurt Jackson, New Exhibition

Cornwall based artist Kurt Jackson has a new exhibition of art work including paintings in acrylic, oil and mixed media on canvas, board, linen, limited edition etchings, prints and artist’s books, collage, stoneware vessels, wood and metal sculptures.
The art exhibition titled The Dart, followed the Devon river from sea to source high on Dartmoor.

Nicholas Condy senior, Plymouth artist

Plymouth artist Nicholas Condy senior produced mainly small watercolours on tinted paper of shore scenes with figures and craft in the background, mostly of Plymouth.
A number of his nineteenth-century gouache art works are for sale by auction at Bonhams in London on September 28th, 2010.
Each art work is roughly six by four inches and are titled: Berry Head; Sutton Harbour; Fisherman, Plymouth Sound; and The Hamoaze, Plymouth.
Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery own 17 oil paintings by Plymouth artist Nicolas Condy senior said to be the most admired marine painter to com from Plymouth.
